How to understand “Self-cleaning”in self-cleaning filter

What is a self-cleaning filter, in fact, it is nothing special, it is a kind of use of filter net to intercept impurities in water, remove suspended matter, particulate matter, reduce turbidity, purify water quality, water treatment equipment to reduce dirt, bacteria, algae and rust in the system. The reason why it is called self-cleaning, mainly because of its intelligent design, can automatically identify the extent of impurity deposition, to the sewage valve signal automatic discharge. Self-cleaning filters save both land use and investment. Self-cleaning filters are suitable for all industries. The water containing impurities enters the filter through the inlet, flows through the wedge filter first, and the filtered water flows out through the outlet. The filtered impurities are adsorbed on the filter screen, and thus the pressure difference between the inner and outer surfaces of the filter screen is formed. When the pressure difference reaches a set value, the pressure sensor sends a signal to the controller, which opens the blowdown valve and discharges it from the blowdown port. The whole process is controlled automatically without interruption of the main stream during the self-cleaning process. Self-cleaning filters should be maintained at regular intervals.
